Internal Social Networking at work benefits the organizational growth and the employee growth

Social media helps people feel closer, it allows them to share ideas, techniques, thoughts, get advice and do much more. Corporate world is also now implementing internal social networking sites at work. In today’s era, with globalization and e-commerce growing, company employees are located around the globe, work remotely and also travel heavily. Employees are accustomed to working with colleagues in different countries. Today’s managers have realized that they have to find a way to connect their employees in order to achieve organizational goals.

So what does an organization achieve by implementing internal social network within the work place? And what are an employee’s incentive to use these internal social networking sites?
