Compete or Die

by on January 20, 2010

‘Competition is good’ and ‘Competition is bad’ are like two sides of the innovation coin. Competition can be the soul of innovation but at the same time can take its toll on innovation. Competition amongst companies can lead to key inventions; at the same time, its pressure, accompanied with hasty decisions may cause long-term negative effects. In today’s fast-changing world, trumping rivals is tougher than ever. Incumbency will not help you maintain your edge in the face of constant turbulence. ‘Innovate and revolutionize’ is the only mantra that works today.
