This article explores the three different reasons which cause the employee’s poor engagement. When describing these  three reasons, the author uses the iphone example to demonstrate the success of the company with high engagement. Then, the author suggests three things that are critical to the engagement:

1 the scope employees have to learn and advance

2the company’s reputation and its commitment to making a difference in the world

3the behaviors and values of the organization’s leaders

As the author concludes, engagement is essential to the competitiveness of every company and every economy—and we need to be doing a whole lot better than we are
